An Engine NVH Development Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Essex.

Description
Position Description:
Engine NVH Development Engineer

Lead the refinement development task for the specified engine program and develop testing & analysis workplans to support the program timing. Oversee those testing & analysis tasks to support NVH development and interpret analysis & test results to provide expert recommendations to a design team. Liaise and work with vehicle and installation teams to deliver total NVH system to program targets. Lead component & design teams in resolution of refinement issues.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Proven team working capability and NVH experience/knowledge. Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills and able to demonstrate high motivation and ability to work on own initiative.

Skills Preferred:
Project management skills. PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database applications.

Details
Experience Required:
Competent in this area requiring supervision and/or assistance only where the issues or situation faced is highly complex and/or business critical. (Some experience working on similar project. Demonstrates most of the knowledge and skills required) Candidates do not have to have automotive background. Can have NVH experience from following backgrounds: acoustic, noise, white goods, recording studios, loud speaker design, aerospace.

Experience Preferred:
P/T / Engine NVH development experience.

Education Required:
Experience more important than qualifications.
