A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment. With many years of experience in the Fuel Injection Market are now looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer to be based in either their Kent or London site.

As the Quality Engineer you will support the quality aspects of all HDB electronics activities, including systems, software, hardware and project management.
The Advanced Quality Engineer will work with Engineers and Managers to improve the development processes and the quality of our products and act as a guide, coach and mentor, especially to new staff and contractors, encouraging process development and innovation by personal contribution, and by motivating others to do so.

You will assist with quotations and project planning to ensure that suitable processes and adequate resources are assigned.

Perform local site and project audits and help to collect, collate and analyse process/project measures of performance.
Ensure HDB Electronics activities on remote sites are compliant with the defined processes.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to Electronics, in conjunction with dedicated support staff.
The successful applicant will hold a degree in Software or Electronic Engineering with experience of the complete project lifecycle as a team member in a high volume electronics environment ideally within the automotive industry.

Proven experience of process improvement and QA experience, auditing to ISO9001, TickIT or CMM.
