Automotive Body Engineer

Our client is one of the most successful vehicle manufacturers in the UK.
To support the FRAME (Body-Exterior-Interior) engineering section and provide technical capability for development, production and quality of automotive body parts/systems (e.g. body in white and body assembly parts).
Creation of drawings and specifications for parts/systems for new vehicle variations and European special editions. As necessary, support of testing in order to verify that parts quality meet with relevant standards. Main emphasis will be on body design and development but there will be an expectation to support other FRAME section parts as necessary.
You will be Degree qualified in Automotive Engineering or demonstrable experience with either an OEM or automotive parts supplier. You will have CATIA V5 2D/3D and analytical software skills and be proactive and demonstrate high level of self motivation to deliver.
