Design Engineer (Solidworks) with a Mechanical Bias Required for Firm in the Midlands-Permanent Opportunity
Description
A firm that specialise in hydraulic and pneumatic solutions that act as failsafe devices in a number of industries. They have a repeat client base and make devices for leading household names in the rail industry amongst others.
Job Requirements
They are looking for a Design Engineer with a Mechanical bias; you must have a form of Mechanical Engineering qualification and practical working experience. They use Solidworks so you must be proficient in this software and with proven experience in the manufacturing industry. You must feel comfortable checking complex drawings, attending FMEA's and verification of products. The role will be as part of an existing team that support the development and test activity within the group and this is an out and out design role. Any experience in hydraulics or pneumatics would be a distinct advantage or an aerospace background in these areas too.
