Buyer - New Product Introduction

Leading Automotive Tier 1 seeks Buyer with extensive Project and NPI experience. Webasto Roof Systems Ltd has been established in the UK for almost 30 years and is looking to maintain and bolster its position with a number of key appointments. Working in a challenging but collaborative environment with a complex, technically innovative product for some of the largest and most successful automotive OEMs in the world.
It is now actively looking to recruit talented Buyers. Ideally, you will have significant experience with NPI / Project or Program purchasing within an Automotive Assembly environment.
As Buyer you will have strategic responsibility for co-ordinating NPI or Project purchasing activities in all areas of new programs from sourcing, through to negotiation / order placement and follow up, in accordance with all specifications, quality standards and purchasing procedures.

Ideally, you will be Degree / CIPS qualified. With at least 2 years purchasing experience within a dynamic and fast paced manufacturing environment - ideally Automotive Tier 1.
