Principal Chassis Analysis Engineer

Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
Responsibilities:
CAE - ADAMS/Chassis/Car simulation and analysis of suspension systems and vehicle dynamic performance
CWE - FE based structural durability of chassis systems
Creation of road spring, damper and bush specifications
Experience
Degree qualified or similar
Strong numeracy/literacy
Minimum of 5 years automotive experience essential
Capable of leading a project with minimum supervision
Demonstrate a depth knowledge in chassis structural FE and dynamic analysis (ADAMS)
Demonstrate depth of knowledge in vehicle chassis system and dynamics
Extensive general knowledge in vehicle chassis systems
Knowledge of Mat lab an advantage
Will potentially spend 25% of working time overseas in India or alternative locations
