Maintenance Technician (Machine Tool)

The company is a leading international development partner to the automobile and engine industry. They are currently undergoing a period of increasing growth and are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician with experience of repairing Machine Tools.
The role will be part of a team responsible for the safe maintenance, servicing, installation and operation of plant, machinery and equipment.
The roles are offered on a long term contract or permanent basis Main duties will include:
ensure all plant, machinery and ancillary equipment is maintained Carry out systematic fault finding on all equipment Undertake machine servicing to implement PPM programmes on machines Promote and implement improvements into the engineering of the plant and maximise energy efficiencies Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed Provide callout mainetenance cover outside normal work hours Complete all relevant paperwork Work to and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental matters including completion of all reports and paperwork Take responsibility for contractors on site You will have ONC/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) together with a completed recognised Craft Apprenticeship Ideally hold 17th edition IEE (16th is acceptable)
You will have experience of: CNC and manual machine tool fault diagnosis and repair Be capable of working on your own initiative within a busy production environment an understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems A knowledge of CNC machine control systems would be an advantageYour CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
