Lean Manufacturing Engineer

We are recruitng a Lean Manufacturing Engineer for a leading automotive 1st Tier Supplier based in Coventry.
The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvements projects across the facility and have proven experience in making significant cost savings, eliminating waste from processes and display a sound knowledge in lean tools, ideally applied within an Automotive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Implementation and Training of the following tools/measures
5S, TPM, SMED, JIT, SPC, OEE, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma
Management of site CI metrics with road map to show implementation plan
Support non-production areas of the business with CI tools
Six Sigma Black Belt - Desirable
Degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent
Manufacturing engineering experience
Engineering Apprenticeship useful
Project Management
Computer Literate (Excel, Power point, Word, Project and Outlook)
MINITAB
SAP
Good communicator
Flexibility to operate in a dynamic environment.
Ability to operate in an effective manner and work within a team environment
Be a leader and show initiative
Driving Licence
Full UK Passport
Reasonable travel requirements
