Principal Engineer Platform Front

Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
*Lead the development of B/W of a new vehicle variant from clay model feasibility to concept release. Including concept layout, material selection, packaging and exterior surface development, DFMEA, DVP
*Manage cross functional design reviews to solve critical project issues
*Delivery will be achieved using a multi functional team
*Interface with the customer
*General internal project timing and resource plans
*Degree qualified or similar qualification minimum
*Strong numeracy and literacy skills
*Manage team of engineers and/or acknowledged industry experts in one or more areas with 3 - 5 years experience
*Minimum of 10 years automotive experience essential
*Understands roles and needs of different client groups
*Ensure procedures and quality standards are clearly communicated and implemented
*Capable of managing complex projects
*Take response for process improvement
*Likely to be chartered engineer
