Unit Process Engineer

Our client is looking for an experience Unit Process Engineer to provide Process Engineering support for specific process units.

Maintain and update process safety management systems.

Monitor and optimize process performance.

Identify and develop process improvements.
Personal Safety:-

Work in a professional manner and to follow HSE procedures, aiming to avoid accidents, harm to people and damage to the environment.

Participate in BSA and Compliance Audits as required.

Process Safety:-

Provide technical assurance for process safety activities within the technology:

Ensuring that the Process Safety Management (PSM) activities are completed and kept up to date, with relevant documentation being maintained in the proper permanent locations.

Investigate process related incidents and close related actions.

Responsible for the assessment of process safety and environmental performance impacts for the process units allocated.

Develop and maintain process models such as target setting tools and the refinery Linear Program (LP) sub-models required to set the optimal commercial performance of refinery processes.

Reconcile the models to actual performance on a regular basis and ensure the constraints are modelled consistently and effectively are updated to reflect all planning limitations.
Technical competencies;-

Numerate with good IT skillsls.

Good understanding of Refinery process and major unit operations.

Well developed process engineering skills.

Working knowledge of relevant process modelling and monitoring tools.
