CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
Northamptonshire, England
£180 - 200 per day
Our Client designs, develops, and manufactures powertrain components for use within the motorsport industry. They are currently seeking to recruit a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator on an initial 6 month contract basis.
Reporting to the Department Manager and Department Team Leader, the individual will be responsible for the following:
- Set CNC machines ready for manufacturing.
- Create manufacturing strategies.
- Create CNC machine part programs (offline and online)
- Operate CNC machines
- Undertake In Process quality checks
- Observe company health and safety policies.
- Liaise with Department Managers, Design Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on a daily basis.
Essential Requirements:
- 2 years` post Apprenticeship experience in similar working environment.
- CAM programming working knowledge
- Extensive Heidenhain software experience.
Desirable Attributes:
- CAD modelling knowledge
- 5 axis manufacturing techniques
