A Transmission CAD Data Coordinator is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Essex.

Transmission CAD Data Coordinator / CAD Designer
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
•Good powertrain engineering knowledge required, in particular transmission and shifter systems
•Experience in CATIA, IDEAS, Teamcentre Engineering and Vis Mockup
•Be able to create DS proposals, update DI/DS's and publish data within Teamcentre
•Be able to transfer CAD data between our client and their suppliers, downloading & receiving 3D data and saving it to system
•Awareness of the OEM drawing standards
•Awareness of the OEM standards and required package constraints
•Understanding of AVBOM
•Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Be able to review package/installation input and ensure standards/package requirements are met and where necessary provide alternative proposals as required.
Skills Preferred:
OEM process experience GPDS,WERS, AIMS, WACTS, DPA, GDT.
Details
Education Required:
Related Degree or equivalent experience.
