Project Sales Engineer

The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to work out of its West Midlands based office.
In this role you will be expected to:
Handle daily issues relating to the engineering aspects of Rotating Electrics and Wiper Business from the side of both the customer and ther company, then establishing the solutions of these issues.
Ensure effective progression of projects, with reporting as required to customers, manufacturing sites, Sales UK management, and Japan Headquarters.
Support to the SQA team on quality and warranty related activities.
Participate in VA/VE activities internally and towards the customer.
Adhere to Sales UK procedures relating to the boundaries between jobholder and line manager. Additional authority will be delegated once relevant capability has been proven.
Personal Requirements:
A degree in Engineering, preferably within the mechanical or automotive field, with a minimum of 1-2 years automotive (or similar) industry experience. This could have been gained pre, during, or post the degree study period.
A clear thinker and relationship builder with good communication, liaison and numeracy skills.
A willingness to support Company wide initiatives in support of Continuous Improvement .
A great team player that must NOT demonstrate a maverick or lone-player attitude.
