We are recruiting for a permanent Lean Manufacturing Deployment Manager based at any of our client`s locations.

As Lean Manufacturing Deployment Manager, you will be involved in working on improvement projects at our clients facilities in Europe or in supplier facilities.

The project work would involve the implementation of lean manufacturing concepts to improve plant business results and metrics.
* Examples would be value stream transformation ST or improvement workshop projects to improve quality (quality defect improvement) or volume (build, throughput, customer delivery performance achievement) or supply chain processes (point of use delivery, inventory improvement).
* The work plans would be developed with the facility and support would be provided to lead, facilitate and coach the project.
* It would involve working directly with people in the plant to drive actions to close gaps and to build manufacturing process capability.
* There is an expectation to build capability and skill of project team members in the plant through completion of the project plan.
* Project success would be measured by completion of project plan objectives and the achievement of metrics targets.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Good experience in deploying lean manufacturing concepts in a manufacturing facility.
* Experience with value stream transformations, Rapid improvement workshop projects driving business results
* Knowledge of key Manufacturing processes, quality processes, ordering, supply chain processes
* Hands on operations or supply chain experience would be an asset.
* Project planning and execution experience
* Experience working on the shop floor with teams with an ability to train and coach - knowledge and skill in change management would be an asset
* Willingness and ability to travel to other facilities
* Ability to speak other European languages would be an asset
