Position Description:

Brakes NVH Programme Attribute Team (PAT) Leader. Reporting to: Group Leader Brake Refinement Applications Support and/or Key Interfaces: Brakes Performance PAT Leader (development partner) and Technical Specialists: Brakes NVH, Foundation Brakes, Brake Attributes.
Skills Required:

Knowledge of dynamic signal processing using software such as LMS Testlab, Artemis, Matlab or similar. - Competent in analysing dynamic mechanical systems and noise and vibration data - Evidence of team leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. - Comprehensive ability to work with office IT applications and manage large numbers of records in different formats.



Skills Preferred:

Knowledge of product development processes (e.g. GPDS) is a significant advantage. Knowledge of WERS, eFDVS and Quality Tools (e.g. FMEA) is desirable. Experience in Chassis or Brakes technologies is an advantage.
Experience Required:

Development of NVH performance of systems in an automotive environment.



Experience Preferred:

Component or system design using 6-sigma tools. Knowledge of Finite Element structural analysis techniques for NVH problem solving.



Education Required:

Higher education qualifications in NVH or Mechanical Engineering with an NVH specialism.
