We are recruiting for a ENGINEERING SERVICES MANAGER to lead the Engineering Services Function for the Group. Establish world class Engineering capability and deliver competitive and innovative manufacturing solutions through the integration of Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Manufacturing Technology
Your Responsibilities will include :
Developing and implementing the overall Engineering strategy for the group:
Provide functional leadership of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (MSE) across the Group:
Develop a highly capable Engineering organisation appropriate to the scale and ambition of the group (Group and Site):
Establish and implement the key skill and capability requirements of the Engineering Services core team:
Process owner for NPI, Manufacturing Engineering and Technology Development (Technology Roadmap):
Develop a Technical Centre concept and create the proposal:
Develop Engineering Services toolset CAD / CAM / Post-Processor / Simulation tools (ME and MSE):
Accountable for the overall Engineering performance and process capability of new business implementation:

Aggressively and objectively challenge existing Engineering practices and processes:
Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and methodologies to engineering processes:
Engineering risk management:
You should be Degree qualified with (Ideally) post-graduate / professional qualifications and having well established relationships with academic groups / institutions.
This position is commutable from Burnley, Blackburn, Preston,Manchester, Liverpool and West Yorkshire
