Design Engineer-Solidworks/AlphaCAM Based

A specialist in the supply of formed and machined aluminium components to a variety of industries including automotive, aerospace and construction.
They operate out of a clean facility and are in the region of 50 staff providing materials to aeroplanes through to the Olympics next year.
The position is working under 2 supervisors on the shop floor under the guidance of the Operations Director.
They are looking for a Solidworks and/or AlphaCAM conversant person who has a background in CNC also; you`ll be reading drawings and designing CNC fixtures.
This position is to replace a person who has worked their way up the company; you must have proven experience in this field and be able to contribute straight away.
Part of the interview process will be a CAD test so you must have demonstrable experience using these programmes.
The ideal person shall have experience and competence in the creation of CNC programs for 3 Axis (4 and 5 ideally) CNC machines.
This is an immediate start on a permanent salary to be discussed at submission stage. It`s a permanent role based on 37.5 hours a week on days with paid overtime.
