The company currently supplies electronic systems to the aerospace industry for both civil and defence applications. As Recruitment Specialist you will be involved in supporting the overall staffing and recruiting process for the business, providing advice on recruitment and staffing tools and processes to Hiring Managers and HR Managers and you will be an operationally focused recruitment/resourcing professional with the credibility to advise managers and senior members of the organisation in recruitment best practice.
Working in partnership with HR Managers and Hiring managers to identify, set up and evaluate effective channels for attracting candidates for key roles and to advise on selection tools appropriate to vacancies. You will also advise Managers on recruitment best practice and processes, identify opportunities for recruitment campaigns and events where volume in vacancies or roles exists and synergies can be captured through bulk recruitment activities. You will also monitor candidate engagement throughout the selection process, identifying concerns and making recommendations for improvements, advise coach and support hiring managers on policy, process and tools to ensure consistency in recruitment that adheres to best practice and is compliant legally and with company policies.
Additionally, you will be responsible for collating and tracking recruitment metrics, monitor progress on all vacancies, based on metrics and ensure momentum on roles and assist in the maintenance of strong working relationships with Master Vendors and professional organisations.
You must have a relevant Bachelor s degree (Business or HR) or equivalent level of experience together with demonstrable success within in an operational recruitment role and current
knowledge of candidate generation methods e.g. utilising social media. You must also have excellent relationship management skills including stakeholder management at senior level and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, pressurised environment and a tenacious nature to drive through to conclusion. Additionally, you must be able to work effectively in a team environment and engender a positive working environment, have strong interpersonal skills - having the ability to quickly build positive working relationships, have a proven ability to focus on continuous improvement and innovation and the relevant experience of candidate generation methods.
