Servo Hydraulic/mechanical Sales Manager

This is a UK based position to develop the market in the UK and abroad for the company`s test systems.
You will be expected to spend a significant proportion of your time visiting customers to develop contacts, both in the technical and purchasing departments and will also be expected to identify the solution required to meet the customers` requirements, calculate the system performance requirement and prepare costs, quotations and technical proposals. You will liaise with the other Engineers within company to obtain the required information. The key markets will be automotive manufacturers and their suppliers, civil engineering (seismic testing), aerospace, defence, universities and research institutes. A knowledge of the markets and established contacts into the market would be an advantage.
You must have experience in hydraulic/mechanical environments to enable an understanding of customers` detailed engineering requirements and present the company`s solution to the customer. You will also need experience in running a sales territory and developing new sales, with a proven record of major capital equipment sales with blue chip companies.
Servohydraulic/mechanical testing experience is essential.
Can work from home but come into office when needed.
