Process Engineer

Our client is a leading tier 1 supplier of chassis systems to the Automotive OEM`s
Due to a solid order book, they are looking to add to their head count an experienced Process Engineer, therefore if you feel you meet the requirements below, please call or email registering your interest. As ane experienced Process Engineer you will be required to play a first line active role in the process optimisation of existing production lines.
Further, be involved in the planning and launch of robot equipped production lines for major projects and bringing those into full volume manufacture.
The role has total project responsibility with regards to sub-component optimisation and planning costs; will be required to play an active role in the process optimisation of existing production lines.
A hands-on-approach is required with considerable time spent on the shop floor working closely with Production Management and Personnel
- Previous experience in engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of HNC or above in an engineering discipline
- Welding appreciation and experience
- Robots appreciation and experience
- Exposure to internal and external Customers
- IT literate, able to generate and analyse data
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Self-motivated, strong, confident communicator
- Theory and Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six-Sigma techniques, Commercial capability and Product quality awareness
