Our client is a dedicated one stop shop for high quality component repairs and overhaul servicing the commercial and military aircraft market. In addition, the company has the capability to carry out repairs and overhauls of complete assemblies and electrical harnesses.
A Health and Safety Manager is required to provide a comprehensive proactive and responsive service in all aspects of health, safety and environment (HSandE) at work to ensure that the company complies with all current legislation, regulations and best practice. Experience of operating at a strategic level within Aerospace is a pre requisite.
NEBOSH certificate as a minimum although NEBOSH Diploma preferred. Ideally Member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent with manufacturing, aviation or similar environment experience preferred.
You will have a proven and demonstrable ability to read, analyse and interpret general business and professional periodicals, technical procedures/instructions and legislative documents.
