A Damper System Tuning Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Description
Vehicle Dynamics Engineer - Damper System Tuning Engineer. The successful candidate will responsible for the full range of damper system tuning activities with particular emphasis on an analytical data driven approach. The tasks will include; Damper specification and build. Objective ride data collection and analysis. Adaptive damper software tuning. Component characterisation. Vehicle preparation and evaluation.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Sound knowledge of vehicle dynamics theory, understanding of interactions with other systems, vibration theory, systematic problem solving and highly computer literate.

Skills Preferred:
Experience with data acquisition software.

Details
Experience Required:
Previous experience of Vehicle Dynamics attribute development. Proven to be a flexible self starter, with an eye for detail.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of chassis systems software tuning.

Education Required:
Minimum first degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related subject.
