Property Project Manager

A Project Manager is required to work in our Electrical Engineering department on contract for our large automotive client based in Warwickshire.
Description
Ensure alignment between Electrical department and programmes teams, other engineering departments and, other functions - service, manufacturing, etc. Ensure targets cascaded from the programme to Electrical department are appropriate to required content and achievable - cost, investment, weight. Ensure facilities/vehicles are available/allocated to allow completion of requested testing work. Co-ordinate bill of material validation exercises. Clarify requirements to succeed through clear interpretation of deliverables to engineers. Support consistent Project Reviews and senior reviews to a set format. Weekly publication of programme status sheet and updates of deliverables. Co-ordination and tracking of testing and development status for sign-off and reporting.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment. Self motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision. Experience in developing new processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery. Able to demonstrate good project management experience and a track record of successful project delivery. Educated to degree level. Excellent communication skills, PC literate, especially MS office. Presentation skills. Full driving Licence.
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (desirable although other engineering disciplines also considered).

Education Required:
Degree qualified - ideally in a technical discipline.

Dual site location; Whitley and Gaydon sites.
