Brakes Logistics Engineer

Vehicles and parts logistics facilitator for Chassis Brakes teams. The role will include responsibility for the supply of parts to support prototype and pre production vehicle build. Inter site mobility will be required.

Skills Required:
A sound engineering background with a working knowledge of the detail of modern motor vehicle components and systems. A self motivated and conscientious worker with thorough attention to detail. Ability to coordinate complex component and vehicle supply projects. Good organisational skills and the ability to schedule complex activities using a range of IT tools. Good communication, presentation and meeting skills.

Skills Preferred:
A background in transport logistics in the motor vehicle or component industry Flexibility to drive a range of OEM vehicles and willingness to travel between production sites.

Experience Required:
Experience of the facilitation of timely parts delivery to support complex project schedules.

Experience Preferred:
Experience in the motor industry component supply chain - preferably gained in a large organisation with international operations.

Education Required:
Experience in engineering, management or logistics.

Education Preferred:
Degree or higher qualification in Engineering, Management or Logistics.

Additional Information:
The role will be based at Gaydon but visits to other sites in the UK and overseas may be required from time to time.
