Our client is one of the most diverse international electrical engineering groups in the world. As a group they are members of the Fortune 500 with an annual turnover of over $500 and operations in over 40 countries. They continue to expand their global operation both organically and through acquisition.

Through a European acquisition, the head office of this oil and gas control systems business is expanding their operation and are recruiting for a number of key new positions.

Applications are now being invited for the post of Proposals / Applications Engineer who will assume responsibility for systems quotations working directly with the worlds oil majors and their EPC(M) partners, which could involve both UK and overseas travel.

The successful engineer will have a proven background in providing cost effective solutions in this field and would be able to work across all functions within the company including global sales and engineering, together with expertise in the petrochemical/oil and gas sectors.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are required with sales experience and a related qualification.
