Our client designs and manufactures aerostructures for both the civil and military aerospace markets.
We are recruiting for a Programme Support Lead on a 6-month contract based near to Southampton.
As Programme Support Lead, you will reports to the Programme Manager to:
* Ensure technical, cost and schedule targets are met in line with the commercial and contractual needs of the company.
* Manage all deliveries associated to the project (engineering and hardware)
* Maintain an up to date schedule detailing all activities and deliverables for the project and delivery to the customer.
* Reporting project deliverables status during regular meetings with customer.
* Managing integrated project team, including resource planning and task definition.
* Risk management and schedule adherence through gate procedure.
* Cost management through budgeting and forecasting process, supported by work package owners.
* Generating weekly status reports / metrics with focus on deliverables.
* Enabler for Quality approvals / Special Processes.
Applicants will need to demonstrated success in a project team
* Knowledge of the specification and design process, development and qualification process and manufacture / production planning process.
* Knowledge of risk reduction and continuous improvement techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic vision,a questioning approach and determination to achieve objectives.
