A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for Test Rig Support Engineer. Reporting to the Test Rig Support Manager the test rig support engineer will primarily be required to support the running of test rigs and development of capabilities to meet the specified requirements of the product development and validation teams.

Initial objective of this role is to complete F2P targeted test schedule before SOP.

- Liaise with the product and validation groups, capturing and documenting test rig capability requirements
- Develop and program test schedules
- Provide technical competence in the following fields -
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Rig control application
- Instrumentation
- Provide technical reports on problems / solutions.
- Maintain rig / test documentation.
- Develop / configure test equipment for various targeted tests as specified by validation team.

Contribute and participate in Total Quality activity to promote an environment of continuous improvement.

As the Test Rig Support Engineer you will be qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent with experience in a relevant engineering environment and a genuine interest in engineering and resolving technical problems.
Experience of diesel fuel systems / engines / test rigs would be an advantage.
Experience of leading teams would also be an advantage.

Must be able to demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and inter-personal skills
and be willing to train and develop skills
