Senior Engineer - Systems

Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry.
This role is based in Warwickshire, close to the M69 and is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Hinckley, and Leicester.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Provide technical and engineering know how, to successfully deliver projects on behalf of dept 126.
Contribute to new project proposals
Provide technical support to other team members
Support project review meeting with customers
Complete timesheets
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
You will have a technical background (biased towards electrical and electronics engineering) and has experience working in in the Automotive / Aerospace / Rail / Defence industry for at least 3 years.
The person should be well organised with good communications skills.
Experience of delivering complex electrical / electronic projects.
Experience in writing technical specifications at a component and system level.
Experience in Automotive Electrical product or system design
Experience in Automotive Electrical testing.
Experience in writing and presenting test reports
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications. i.e they must be able to create and maintain records in Microsoft Excel and proficient in producing tracking charts and presenting data in PowerPoint presentations
