Chassis Budget and Financial Analysis Engineer

Ownership for the capital, revenue and piece price budgets for the braking systems on new vehicle programmes. Take part in commercial negotiations (led by the purchase team) with component and system suppliers and project managers. Manage and report performance against budget and present an analysis to department and project management teams.

Skills Required:
Budget management, performance analysis and presentation of Key Performance Indicators for engineering projects. A sound knowledge of engineering project management. Good communication, presentation and meeting organisation skills. High IT literacy with extensive working experience in the MS Office suite in general and Excel in particular.

Skills Preferred:
Experience of or willingness to learn a range of OEM IT application packages associated with budget and project management and performance reporting.

Experience Required:
The candidate will have substantial experience of financial management and reporting in an engineering or project management context.

Experience Preferred:
Experience in a large company environment - preferably an automotive manufacturer or large component supplier would be a significant advantage.

Education Required:
MBA or good first degree in Business Administration

Education Preferred:
Degree in an engineering discipline. Post graduation experience in a planning or financial analysis role.
