QMM - SQA Team Leader

An opportunity has arisen for an SQA Team Leader to work within a multi disciplined team at a major international manufacturing organisation.
As a senior member of the Quality Team, the SQA Team Leader will be responsible for the Quality Management System, and for Supplier Quality Engineering resources. In addition to this, the SQA Team Leader will hold responsibility for Product Quality objectives and ensure that start of production and ongoing productivity delivery quality is to agreed target levels. You will identify areas of weakness relating to product or process implementation of effective techniques to continuously improve plant supplier quality. You will assist the Head of Quality in setting and maintaining quality goals and targets.
The SQA Team Leader will ideally be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and will have gained experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will have a proven track record of plant quality excellence through full supply chain. You must be willing and able to travel regularly throughout the UK and overseas.
