We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Project Engineer on a 12-month contract based in Stafford.
As Manufacturing Engineering Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the management of the project documentation and internal tracking of budget and timelines against the Technical Services team, accountable to the Technical Services Project Leader.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide regular routine documentation updates and project control updates
* Assist team with facilitation of general project activities
* Apply engineering experience to better organise the activities of the team and key suppliers
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly flexible and dedicated team, playing a key-supporting role within the business. Working with a team of Process Manufacturing Engineers, based in the UK develop a new facility in India, this role operates in a high focused project delivery environment.
This cross-functional role involves the application of sound project management, budget control and team working skills, combined with a capability to manage a large quantity of critical data.
The successful candidate will have a strong capability with Microsoft Excel and Project Packages, AutoCAD and the ability to step quickly into an existing high performance team environment
This role represents an exciting step forward for individuals wishing to develop their project leadership skills and gain a broader understanding of the supporting business processes.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in project management (Manufacturing biased)
- Intermediate/advance knowledge and usage of MS Office packages
- Strong capability to learn in a new environment
Desirable:
- Advanced capabilities with MS Excel and ability to lead small teams
