12v Electrical Engineer

Our client is an established engineering consultancy operating at the forefront of innovation and technology within the automotive industry. Recognised globally for their products and engineering capability they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to provide electrical systems support to a variety of projects. You will undertake mainly design based activities and development support for a range of low voltage electrical systems on a range of prototype and production vehicle projects.
The role will include ownership of focused vehicle subsystems (eg. Electrical distribution systems, IP and switches, lighting, access systems, electrical system harnesses, etc) involving integration, packaging or occasional component design.
You may be required to work off site, including international travel.
Ideally you will have previous experience in this type of role and applicants with vehicle design and integration experience for electrical and electronic components would be preferred.
Any previous experience of CAN network systems or high voltage systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Engineering degree required.
