Software Design Engineer - Engine Management Systems

The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit a Software Design Engineer in Engine Management Systems.
Your responsibilities would include:
Designing / modifying the software for EMS ECU, and improving the software design process.
Communicating with system/software engineers in UK/Japan/Sweden to define the specification and ensure the quality.
Prepare/Maintain / Revise the timing plan / work plan / schedules.
Promotion of quality improvement activities with DNJP/DSSE.
Support EMS / ECU related problem / issues analysis and resolution.
Personal Requirements:
Honours degree in Engineering including strong electronics/electrical/software engineering elements.
C or C++ language capabilities.
Working knowledge of Automotive systems and their components, specifically Engine Management Systems (EMS).
A team player but also self-motivated.
Ability to work unsociable hours and occasionally overseas.
