Our client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of percussion driven earth anchoring products. A new position for an Export Sales Manager exists as part of its expansion programme. Based from offices in Surrey you will be responsible for developing sales in Europe directly by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships. As a result, this role will require considerable travelling throughout Europe and the ability to communicate in French and German is a necessity. A flexible approach to work will also be needed.
Plan and prioritise personal sales activities with existing and prospective customers towards achieving agreed business objectives, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity and maintain and develop existing and new customers / distributors through accurate quotations and ethical sales methods, collaborating with others effectively to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
The company is seeking a team player who is ready for the challenge to help them develop their business in line with ambitious growth targets. The successful candidate must be organised, extremely proactive in their approach and able to demonstrate a proven track record in Sales and Management. Your personal skills should include an ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal including presentation skills), being able to influence and persuade and to work independently under pressure and also collaborate with others when required.
