We are recruiting for a Manufacturing APQP Project Engineer on a permanent contract based in Peterborough.

As Manufacturing APQP Project Engineer, this role is vital to implement and deliver manufacturing APQP into the production environment, requiring a high degree of commitment to process quality specifically within the Assembly, Test and Finish fields.

The individual will be a key contributor capable of guiding and influencing other teams in their sphere of expertise. A driven and dedicated individual with a proven track record is essential, capable of further career progression within the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide expertise in the development and roll out of Manufacturing APQP (APQP)
* Be directly engaged with other parts of the business at all levels to ensure delivery against set deliverables
* Plan and coordinate APQP elements to ensure robust quality processes are in place and adhered to.
* Responsible for demonstrating a professional ability with the company values and behaviours at all times

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
* Qualified in a Manufacturing or Technical Engineering discipline
* Significant experience within a current Manufacturing / Quality role
* Automotive manufacturing engineering experience within an Assembly, Test, Finish environment
* Project management / Coordination / Facilitation experience involving cross functional teams
* Ability to implement Quality systems process tools and techniques (FMEAs, Controls Plans, etc)
* Excellent MS Office and PC skills

Desirable:
* Knowledge of NPI
* Design for manufacturing knowledge and experience
* Track record of having led cross functional projects
