Reputable First Tier supplier to German and British based OEM`s with injection moulding and assembly on site.
A vibrant order book and expansion to the Team means that a requirement exists for a First Tier Automotive APQP Engineer to:
manage the Quality Planning Requirements for new product introduction
develop processes and systems to improve APQP operation
supervise and support APQP/PPAP Engineers
Reporting into the Senior Quality Engineer and working closely with Project Managers (UK and abroad) and the Customer SQA you will be tasked with achieving approved PPAP submission, improved APQP process efficiency, management overview of APQP status and support to supplier development.
Potential problem identification at an early strage, on-time product aproval and improved global communication between the Project Managers are key challenges to be faced by the post holder.
The ability to speak German or to have previous First Tier Automotive experience with German Manufacturers is strongly desired for this post, as is an HNC/HND in a relevant Engineering discipline. Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 essential.
