Executive Electrical Engineer

Our client is an established engineering consultancy operating at the forefront of innovation and technology within the automotive industry. Recognised globally for their products and engineering capability they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to provide electrical systems support to a variety of projects, undertaking mainly design based activities and development support for a range of low voltage electrical systems on a range of prototype and production vehicle projects.
The role will include specification and ownership of focused vehicle subsystems (eg. Electrical distribution systems, IP and switches, lighting, access systems, electrical system harnesses) involving integration, packaging or occasional component design.

There will also be a requirement to plan the detailed electrical content and resource requirements of future engineering projects.

You will also supervise the technical delivery of junior electrical engineers.
Degree qualified, you will have previous experience in this type of role and applicants with vehicle design and integration experience for electrical and electronic components would be preferred.

Any previous experience of CAN network systems or high voltage systems would be advantageous but not essential.
