Diesel Pump Rig Technician

The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit a Diesel Pump Rig Technician.
Budget has been agreed to purchase and install a diesel pump test rig in DSUK EMS Facilities. An additional technician is needed to be responsible for all installation and test work on this rig.
Your role would include:
Installation and set up of components for test
Completion of tests, including creating automated test scripts where needed, and reporting of results.
Liaison with customers (EMS staff) and suppliers (General Affairs (Admin) Dept, and external contractors / suppliers) and maintenance of the equipment.
Health and Safety and Environmental compliance aspects, as relevant.
You will also be expected to support other areas of Facilities section as needed during busy periods and to provide holiday / sickness cover.
Personal Requirements:
HNC or equivalent in Engineering Discipline
Good mechanical fitting skills, with use of Visual Basic, C++, Labview or similar, for creation of automated test scripts.
Clear understanding of hydraulic functions in diesel fuel injection systems.
Performance testing and development on components, engines, or vehicles to include the design and manufacture of unique test fixtures and jigs in a prototype environment.
