Service & Q.A. Engineer - Warranty

The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit a Service and Q.A. Engineer.
This job role entails:
Working closely with DSUK, DENSO and customers, monitoring quality issues for a range of products and customers, to plan and ensure resolution.
Gathering warranty claim information to establish trends in the data, and reviewing data to identify key improvement activities, ensuring warranty targets are met over a 12 month period.
Supporting quality investigations as and when necessary ensuring the correct tools and techniques are being used.
Communicating with customer support lines and fielding technical product questions, then submitting reports to customers ensuring issues are closed out and following them through to financial settlement.
Requirements:
A degree/HNC/HND in Automotive/Mechanical/Engineering is desirable.
A good knowledge and experience working in an automotive environment from a sales, manufacturing or quality position.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an approachable, pro-active disposition and an ability to work both as a team player and a individually as required.
Commitment to completing projects on time, and an abiliy to work well under pressure.
You will also be required to regularly travel from the office in coventry to customer sites and occasionally other DENSO offices.
