Development Engineer - Hybrid - Field Support

Williams Hybrid Power are developing electric flywheel energy storage technology for mobile, hybrid and electric vehicle applications and are now looking for an Application Development Engineer/Field Support.
The company now has active demonstrator programmes in public transportation applications that lead towards sales of serial production hybrid systems.
The successful applicant will hold a degree in an engineering discipline and will carry out test and development activities on flywheel energy storage systems, both in the test laboratory and on-site with customer vehicle applications.
You will develop a detailed understanding of the operating characteristics and limits of the flywheel and be able to troubleshoot problems, analyse data and implement solutions.
Must have good communication skills, willingness to travel and a familiarity with powertrain tools such as ATLAS or INCA are essential.
