We are recruiting for a Marketing Representative on a 12-month contract based in Peterborough.
As Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Analyse sales opportunities, review pricing practices, assist with new product information releases, and develop competitive analysis for the assigned industry.
* You will also be involved with the development of marketing strategies for assigned rotational workgroup/industry.
* Assist/lead projects related to global dealer operational excellence, working closely with other Service Divisions.
* Develop a strong understanding of product application and proper maintenance practices, and be able to articulate product issues as well as proposed solutions.
* Develop a network of service engineering teams to assist with product/application questions.
* Understand warranty/goodwill policies and apply effectively in support of field related issues.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in an accredited Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, or Engineering Technology curriculum.
Other degrees in Business or Engineering will also be considered.
This role is responsible for the following area:-
- Exhibition and event support
- Sales presentation creation and development
- Assisiting the development and creation of promotional photography and video production
- General support to the departmental team
Attributes: applicants will show strength in teamwork, good interpersonal skills, ability to deal with people at all levels, attention to detail and flexible. Excellent Powerpoint skills are essential to this role
Due to the nature of the work carried out within the department additional hours are sometime required, so flexibility is important
