A application engineer is required by world leader in the field of advanced fuel injection systems to the car, truck and industrial sectors. This is an exciting and rewarding role for an experienced Account Manager to be the prime interface between the business and its global customer base. This organisation is continuing to develop and innovate its product range, supplying high technology engineered products to leading automotive OEMs globally.
To handle engineering and commercial activities related to existing Powertrain component business and to assist in the growth of that business.
Handling daily issues relating to the engineering and commercial aspect of Powertrain components business, these issues may originate from the customer side.
- Solving those issues where possible/appropriate and/or establishing how best to resolve them in conjunction with the appropriate depts / manufacturing sites
- Ensuring the appropriate and timely progression of projects, with reporting and escalation as required to Sales UK management,
- Identifying and progressing areas of business expansion in conjunction with Sales UK management.
- Presenting to the Customer in support of expansion activities or project related issues.
- Support to the SQA team on quality and warranty related activities.
- Participation in and management of VA/VE activities internally and towards the customer.
