Who for: A world’s leading food manufacturer that employs around 6,000 employees in 27 country’s throughout Europe are looking for a motivated Planning Manager.
Overview: You will be managing the planning team in order to achieve departmental targets. Responsible for developing the planning team to meet future requirements and ensure plans are in place for job succession. Responsible for optimizing and continually improving the local planning processes in order to maximize manufacturing output and achievement of targets.
Tasks: To lead, manage, motivate, coach and mentor the Planning team and warehouse personnel and develop the team through regular PMDPs and appraisals. To achieve and report departmental progress against budgets and KPIs (fiscal budgets, raw material and finished stocks, shelf-life, rework etc) To co-ordinate outsourcing and co-manufacturing activities in conjunction with central planning and sub co in Wieze. To liaise directly with both internal and external partners to track progress. To assess local planning systems and job processes, in particular to focus on liquid planning to ensure a robust succession plan in line with Group systems.
