A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for a Project Leader - Pumps to work on either a permanent or contract basis to co-ordinate all the engineering activities on specific customer pump applications both in development and production, be the customer technical interface, and represent Engineering in cross functions teams.

The successful Project Leader will report to the TPL Manager.
The Project Leaders main duties will be drawn from the following:

Manage the Engineering activities to ensure alignment with overall project timing and manage the escalation and resolution within Engineering.

Lead the technical communication with the customers to ensure customer technical requirements are understood, and resolve any technical roadblocks.

Communicate effectively, develop and conduct regular technical presentations internally, and to customers.

Prepare and own customer related documents such as validation reports, customer specific DFMEA reviews, CPS etc.

Agree pump packaging with the customer and ensure interface drawings are released with correct QCI and KPC definition,
Define prototype definition (BOM) for all development and PPAP samples.

Lead and apply PDP process for Design reviews and represent Engineering in Gate reviews.

Prepare minutes/action plans following meetings to ensure all affected teams are appraised of progress at all times.

The Project Leader must have excellent organisational skills, be an organised and disciplined team player who pays attention to detail.

Travel will be required to ensure customer meetings are supported and key deliverables/launches at the plant are prepared for. Therefore the successful applicant must be willing and able to travel at short notice.


German, speaking, reading and writing would be an advantage
