Test Engineer

An outstanding opportunity to join one of the world s most iconic brands within motorsport.
They are now looking for a Test Engineer to take responisbility for test systems and to ensure that the equipment fitted to the car is robust in every respect, both hardware and software.
As the Test Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Work with design engineers to ensure new designs, both hardware and software, are testable.
Attend hardware design reviews.
Devise test methods in accordance with industry practice and our own requirements.
Liaise with external suppliers for the procurement of test equipment or services.
Management of the specification of externally supplied sensors used on the car, and implementation of measures to ensure their reliability.
Development and maintenance of measures to allow complete testing of sensors prior to car fitment.
As the Test Engineer you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent (2:1 or better preferred) in electronics or mechanical engineering, or a related, appropriate discipline.
Must have a willingness to work flexibly within a small team.
Previous experience in F1 would be ideal.
This role requires travel, mainly within the UK therefore you must be able and willing to travel as and when required.
