Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England
Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry and is based in Warwickshire.
They are looking for a Graduate Trainee to join their team. The structure of the programme will be:
Initial training period in the UK working as a team member on existing vehicle dynamics development programmes for Chinese manufacturers.
Long term placement in China supporting day-to-day engineering activity:
Based at customer site for defined periods
Perform basic Vehicle Dynamics development work
Attend project reviews
Liaison with UK technical team
Assist on proposal generation
Occasional trips back to HQ for project support and further training
Report to Shanghai engineering manager
Requirements:
Willingness to move to China in Q2-Q3 2012
Mechanical or automotive engineering degree
High level of Chinese language written and oral communication skills
Good level of English language written and oral communication skills
Preferred some Hands on vehicle experience
Profile:
Ideal candidate will be fluent communicators in Chinese, with an excellent knowledge of Chinese culture, educated in a UK University
Personal interest on automotive engineering
