Maintenance Engineer

The processes of this company are state of the art plastic blow moulding and system assembly, producing products which include fuel tanks, fuel pipes, expansion tanks and air ducts for Just-In-Time supply to Honda, Jaguar, BMW, Rolls-Royce and MG Rover.
To maintain modern production equipment to a high standard within an automotive demanding environment. Candidates should be apprentice trained mechanical or electrical with a good understanding of plc controlled equipment. Must have a good understanding of lean and TPM and be competent in carrying out planned maintenance schedules. Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics will be an advantage.
Part of a team covering the unplanned and planned maintenance of production equipment. Good understanding of modern plc`s and be apprentice trained. The shift pattern is 24/7, so you will need to be prepared to work alternate shifts.
