Graduate Project Engineer

My client designs, tests and manufactures bespoke interior products for the aviation industry.
The product development will involve all aspects of styling, engineering, designing, testing, procurement, assembly and delivery of the final product.

• Technical support of seating projects working with Suppliers to ensure product delivery and functionality to specification.
• Liase with and support the Design and Project Management departments with technical input and system ownership.
• Organisation and oversight of reliability and abuse testing.
• Support to the customer for technical in-service faults and problems.
• Generation of technical manuals and working instructions.
  Contributing to the Design and Engineering development process through prototyping and test of systems and parts. Liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure documentation is produces to the required standards.
  
  
  
  Requirements
• An engineering degree/HND or HNC
• Previous experiencing of working in an Engineering Support function.
• Experience of working on Mechanical product development programmes.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must have the ability to work well under there own initiative.
• The ability to analyse problems and recommend a course of action.
• Must be computer literate.
