Our client is a leading manufacturer of rolling bearings and linear products as well as a renowned supplier to the general industrial industry of high-precision products and systems. Ideally you will have bearings experience and will be responsible for promoting and selling the company`s products to the industry. You will provide and maintain up to date product / engineering expertise on specifically defined application areas and provide support in these areas to other external sales and internal personnel.

You will work closely with customers` manufacturing sources and product design teams on specific projects, undertaking project engineering activities/responsibilities as required. You will provide commercial support to major accounts through regular visits and direct liaison with both engineering and commercial contacts, monitor progress of on-going projects and take relevant action to ensure deadlines are met, quality standards are maintained and a professional service is provided to the customer, explore and develop new opportunities, eg, through the on-going analysis of customer needs and monitoring of customer/competitor activities, negotiate commercial and contract terms, liaise with engineering departments within the company with regard to technical issues, problems and enquiries and produce regular sales reports and forecasts as required.

You will be educated to HNC Mechanical engineering or equivalent, must have 2 3 years experience in a technical sales or engineering role and be PC literate. Technical sales experience desirable. In addition, you will be a team player, good communicator, self motivated, professional, passionate, committed, tenacious, have good presentation and negotiation skills.
