Interior Trim Systems Project Manager

An Interior Trim Systems Project Manager is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Warwickshire.

Description
Interior Trim Systems Project Manager, capable of developing current and future products for Soft Trim and Hard Trim items. The candidates will be able to apply or adapt a mixture of traditional skills with leading edge technology awareness to enhance feature appearance in terms of fit, finish and methods of manufacture.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Able to demonstrate strong project administration and time management skills. Confidence in handling supplier liaison & potential selection activities. Capable of supporting purchasing for technical input to meetings. Capable of multi-tasking delivering a range of components. The role will involve investigation and delivery of product/commodity opportunities and enhancement opportunities. Capable of using CAD data visualisation tools such as PDV/Vis-mockup effectively.

Details
Experience Required:
Bespoke & Low/Medium Volume vehicle personalisation development. Working knowledge of Rapid Manufacturing Technologies including Rapid Prototyping applications. Have experience of working with Test and Development functions within the Automotive or related spheres.

Experience Preferred:
Being ideally CATIA V5 literate and capable of interrogating systems would be advantageous. Ideally capable of using system packages to create detail drawings to internal & BS standards. Must be capable user of major MS-office tools, and be PC-literate to a high level. Must be capable of creating/authoring summary reports and cost analysis accurately.

Education Required:
Degree Qualified applicants only. Must have knowledge based on Industrial Design Applications and/or Computer Aided Design for Automotive applications.

Additional Information:
Supporting the programme at each Manufacturing and Design Location will be required. This will include extended periods of placement to support Business needs.
